I love Dowdle puzzles I have completed over 100 of them. Mackinac Island was a very tricky puzzle because all the pieces were square with different protrusions. I had to rebuild portions of the puzzle by looking extra close at the picture. The border was a challenge I had to switch pieces many times to get the proper result. I have done many many puzzles and this was one of the hardest. About 6 hours with the help of my wife. I honestly would prefer puzzles with many different shapes Thank You PS I don't do many other brands of puzzles Dowdle is number one

This is the first Dowdle that I never finished. I started with the bottom part, than the houses, than the middle right part. When I stated on the hotel everything didn’t fit together. I couldn’t finish. I see what other reviews say

We visited Mackinac Island in September, 2023. We have bought at least 11 other Dowdle puzzles and have enjoyed them from the get go for many reasons. This has the vibrant colors and memory of the Grand Hotel where we stayed. However, it is missing the right corner edge pieces both on top and side. My husband continues to work on the puzzle but even when the remaining pieces are in place, the puzzle will not be finished because of the missing edge pieces. We would appreciate any suggestion you may have to help solve this issue. We have pictures if you would like us to send that.
