As the southernmost city in Alaska, Ketchikan is known as the "Salmon Capitol of the World". Even though it is the fifth most populous city in the state, Eric has captured the essence of this fishing "town". Brightly painted wooden houses stand against a lush green backdrop of evergreens and mountains. Salmon abound—jumping out of the water, being caught by fishermen and children alike—even an eagle gets his share. I had some problems with the ships but everything else went well. Good puzzle.
Having been to Ketchikan I was excited to put this together but it is easily one, if not the favorite. Colors are great and a very good representation of the town.
Not too hard; not to easy - a relaxing way to remember my trip there.
Since doing my first Dowdle puzzle I knew the quality was exceptional. I have been to Ketchikan 7 or 8 times and loved it. This is such a colorful puzzle and brings back many fond memories of being there.
