This puzzle was just challenging enough and very well illustrated; another one well done.
We spent our 10 year anniversary in Seattle, my hometown! It was fun to show my husband around that great city! Our anniversary dinner was so beautiful up in the space needle and a ride on the monorail! The puzzle was fun to put together when we got home. It commemorate our celebration! It hangs on our wall
I have the 500 pc version. Great picture, but #29 was identified as Mount Hood -- wrong mountain! Should be Mount Rainier which is visible on most days in Seattle. Mount Hood is in Oregon and is visible from Portland. If the name hasn't been changed yet on future printings, it needs to be!
This particular Seattle puzzle is definitely vintage, though the case sleeve had a 2020 copyright date. Hmmm. Vintage because of Tully's sign, Alaskan Way Viaduct (behind Tully's) and Kingdome! Tully's stores are gone-too bad it wasn't a Starbucks sign, which is everywhere. Viaduct was torn down 2019. Kingdome was imploded 20 years ago (March 2000).
Other than the 'technical' stuff, the puzzle is great. I really like the 500 pc Dowdle from various places. Just enough of a challenge for me.
This 1000 piece puzzle was too difficult for me. The pieces are small which makes it difficult to see detail. Plus, the “poster” included in the box of the completed puzzle to help with assembling is also small. I would need to use a magnifying glass to attempt putting the puzzle together.
We got 500 pieces puzzle of Seattle and this was such a wonderful experience to build it with my daughter Natalie. It was a great time spend, had some private conversations and made a great memories. We will be getting more for sure.
