I absolutely love Dowdle puzzles! I have started collecting these and really enjoy
building them. The 1000 piece traditional puzzle is my favorite bc I love the challenge it presents. I'm a big fan and look forward to collecting many more!
This puzzle was a bit of a challenge to me. The edge pieces fit multiple ways and only finding all next level pieces resolves challenge. Thoroughly enjoyable. I was beginning to think I had pieces from a different puzzle. But they all eventually fit.
Like the Hawaii puzzle, this is a very quick puzzle. It is an easy puzzle so you can let the younger members of your family work it. This may not be true in the larger version, we only worked the 500 piece but we put it together in under 2 1/2 hours. One of Eric's early puzzles, I believe, it doesn't have as much personality as his later works but the city is well represented. Good for those who love his cityscapes, this is a good puzzle to get someone hooking on Dowdle puzzles. Introduce them to the newer 1000 piece puzzles after you've got them hooked.
