$25.00
One of the earliest brick homes in Nauvoo, IL, this beautiful federal-style home was built by John Ivins, a convert to the LDS Church, and later occupied by John Taylor. This brick residence, part of a three-building complex, provided a home for the Taylor family in 1845. John Taylor worked in the Printing Office as the editor of the first periodicals in Nauvoo, The Times and Seasons and The Nauvoo Neighbor. He was the third president of the LDS Church, serving from 1880 to his death.
