Heber C. Kimball Home - Fine Art
$125.00
Heber Chase Kimball was a leader in the LDS Church from 1847 to his death. He was a blacksmith and potter by trade. When they first arrived, he dismantled an old stable to make a lean-to for his family, and later built a small log and brick home on the back of their property before finally finishing their brick home in 1845. They lived there only four months and five days before being forced to leave. Dr. J. Leroy Kimball, Heber C. Kimball's great grandson, Dr. Kimball restored the home as a memorial to his great-grandfather and made it available for public view.
