Brigham Young Home - Fine Art
Brigham Young was the second president of the LDS Church. He was the leader of the Church's movement west as well as first territorial governor of Deseret, later named Utah. Prior to moving West, the Youngs settled in Nauvoo, IL and shortly afterwards, Brigham departed on a mission to England. While he was gone, his wife, Mary Ann, procured their Nauvoo lot and moved their family of seven children into an unfinished log cabin. After Brigham returned, he completed the cabin and then built their brick home from 1843 to 1844.
