It had been decades since I solved a puzzle. My mother was a huge fan. Together we
worked hundreds of them. I’m 63 now and my daughter is 13. I wanted something that
would be fun, difficult and educational all at the same time. This one was all 3.
I loved the huge variety of the different shaped pieces and the attention to detail
was amazing. Watching her figure out clues with a magnifying glass warmed my heart.
500 pieces was challenging. It took many hours. She was so happy when we put the
last piece in.
During the Pandemic I have been doing a lot of puzzles. Enjoyed some more than others. Have preserved and framed a few. I just received
Best of America as a gift. I love the quality of the pieces as well as the size and theme. What I don't like about it is the picture of the puzzle.
I am in my late seventies and the eye site isn't the best and with it being a busy puzzle its very hard to make out the pattern for the pieces.
I have enlarged it in two pieces to see if that will help.
My suggest would be to make a larger diagram picture of the subject matter. Could still fit it in the smaller box you use by folding it up smaller.
I know I would be more apt to purchase more of these puzzles if it didn't cause such a strain on my eyes to make out the pattern and colors.
Thank you,
and continue making puzzles.
