Assateauge Lighthouse - Fine Art

Lighthouses are popular icons, and each one has a unique story. They warn ships away from dangerous shoals and reefs, and help them find safe entry to harbors. Our collection features four picturesque lighthouses from the east coast. Assateague Lighthouse is located on the southern end of Assateague Island, off the coast of the Virginia Eastern shore. Historically, it served as a Naval area, and our scene depicts a time gone by, when wives and families waited for husbands and fathers to arrive safely home.
