How would you like your face memorialized on a 60-foot stone carving? American sculptor John Gutzon Borglum chose George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln for Mt. Rushmore because he felt they represented the most important events in U.S. history. If you look carefully at the tourists gazing up at the mountain you might see each of these former presidents dressed in their period clothes. These are only a few of the fun Easter eggs hidden in this image. This puzzle is part of our National Parks Collection.

Mountain Men

This puzzle was harder than it looks. There were pieces that fit together but were not the correct ones. You had to look closely at the shades of gray! I enjoyed the challenge

Yikes! Difficult and challenging but satisfying once you've completed it.

The rock area can be particularly difficult! Glad you finished it and had a good time. Did you notice George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson in the crowd looking up at the monument? That's just one of the fun Easter Eggs painted hidden in the Mt. Rushmore puzzle.
