Denali is a Native American word meaning the high one, the tall one. Standing at 20,310 feet, Mt. Denali (also known as Mt. McKinley) is the highest peak in North America. The national park surrounding the mountain is six million acres of wild land, bisected by one ribbon of road. In this painting you’ll get a glimpse of the rugged landscape that is home to the Rock ptarmigan, Alaska’s state bird; Dall sheep; caribou; moose; grizzly bears; snow geese; pica; and red-necked grebe. Denali is part of our National Parks Collection.

This puzzle is absolutely stunning! Bruce Martin has created many gorgeous images for Boardwalk, but this is probably my favorite. I love the colors and it was a fun challenge with the mountain reflected in the lake.
