Worked on this puzzle during a week of bad weather. A challenge because of all the similar colors. Framed and is hanging in my living room for Halloween decor.
I love to do puzzles! I had surgery and have been putting puzzles together as I convalesce. This puzzle was the hardest I have ever done, but I really enjoyed it. And, it's beautiful! My son-in-law gave me six of the Dowdle puzzles and this is the first I have put together. I'm anxious to see how the other five compare. I wish I could mount this one, but I have nowhere to hang it. Thanks for a high-quality puzzle!
I enjoyed reading about Mr. Dowdle and his life. I also grew up in a large family-seven boys and four girls, so I can attest to the joy of large families.
During this pandemic I have completed twenty-five 1,000 piece puzzles. I pride myself at being quite skillful at completing challenging puzzles. This one is without a doubt the most challenging puzzle I have ever completed...EVER! The scene is gorgeous, taking me back to my favorite city to be in for Halloween,...Salem, MA. I highly recommend this puzzle to anyone who wants a REAL challenge!
Great puzzle and at times challenging because pieces are all shapes and sizes. Like the variety of different pieces.

This is a great puzzle for the whole family, it has difficult sections for those who have a little more experience and easier bits for those who are just moving up to a 1000 piece puzzle. It great for those cold, wet days as we move into Fall to get the kids inspired for Halloween. There is A LOT of windows and cute witches; lots of grey and roofing. At times, this can be quite frustrating but it was great fun in the end. Definitely get this for your family in September/October!
