Lighthouses are popular icons, and each one has a unique story. They warned ships away from dangerous shoals and reefs, and helped them find safe entry to harbors. Our collection features four picturesque lighthouses from the east coast. Tybee Island Lighthouse is located in Georgia, at the mouth of the Savannah River. Surrounded by a thriving community, it is one of the few 18th century lighthouses still in operation in North America.
