Great Wall of China | 1000 Piece

Not impressed. Skyvpices are blurred. Having to remove peices constantly lets the picture lift off the stock. Boardwalk problem. Blurred skyvpieces hard to join. This puzzle as orher Boadwalks, are a 1 time use. They go to charity after completion.

When I bought this puzzle I thought it was by Eric Dowdle. It wasn’t and turned out a horrible experience! Too many pieces are the exact size and and similar colors. After many many frustrating hours and days, ended up with four pieces that didn’t fit the four remaining empty places. Will not start over on this 1000 piece puzzle and probably it will go in the trash. From now on I will be sure the puzzles I buy are Dowdle puzzles and no other artist/puzzle maker, especially not J Poai. Also very poor quality; the top layer of pieces are coming off. 👎👎

Been buying Dowdle 1000 piece puzzles for a few years and love them. The Great Wall of China was a little more difficult for a couple of reasons. First, the edges of the pieces tended to peel off if a piece was in the wrong place and had to be moved. Second, the shapes of the pieces were so similar that many would fit in several spaces which makes the puzzle more challenging but was frustrating a bit.
This puzzle was from Boardwalk Puzzle Company but sold by Dowdle. I wouldn’t buy another Boardwalk puzzle but will continue to purchase Dowdle puzzles, especially if Ireland puzzle is offered in 1000 pieces.

Boardwalk puzzles are far, far inferior in quality to the usual Dowdle puzzles. Pieces are flimsier, and don't fit well.
