I feel like you could only draw the many important buildings and experiences of Madison this well if you grew up there. This (500 piece) puzzle has all of the nostalgic buildings; they are drawn incredibly accurately - even the windows. The puzzle is not easy - lots of pieces seem to fit together that don't, and your brain really has to work. Lots of fun, and the details of the city's statues, University area buildings, and lakeside life, are brilliant. This would make a nice gift, too.
I have ordered several dowdle puzzles and like the quality of the pieces, storage box etc. Unfortunately, when this puzzle arrived it was missing the nice reference sheet. I realize the demand for puzzles in this crazy time is higher than normal and mistakes happen but when I reached out to customer service I was sent an email referencing me to the website where I could download my own version. They did not offer to mail one to me and I do not have access to a color printer. I was disappointed with this response. They did not apologize for the oversight...as a matter of fact they directed me on how to download a copy should I ever "lose" one again. The fact it was missing from the original packaging was never acknowledged...
This was a fun puzzle. I loved all the Madison things referenced in the puzzle. But no cheese?! Hubby and I grew up in Madison and it was fun naming all the buildings. Quality puzzles, thick pieces that fit together well.
We got this as a Christmas gift. Challenging but very doable. Love the attention to detail, fun legend on back to explain locations and Wisconson icons. Anyone who loves Madison and puzzles would love this too.
Deluxe packaging, zip lock bag to store puzzle pieces after done. Extra sheet with picture of completed puzzle very nice feature rather than just the picture on box.
Have already gotten another one!
