Cannon Beach is famous for Haystack Rock, colorful tidepools and diverse birdlife. It is a picturesque small-town village by the sea, one of America’s best art towns with a ton of character. There are abundant hiking trails and panoramic coastal views. In 1805, William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition traveled south to Cannon Beach from their camp at what is now Astoria, Oregon. Here he saw “the grandest and most pleasing prospects which my eyes ever surveyed, in front of a boundless ocean.”

I do a lot of puzzles and this is my second Dowdle puzzle. There are way too many pieces cut of the same shape causing mismatches. The top blue edge (all of the same color) had to be pulled apart 6 times and reworked. We could not get it right until we had the second row completed and then there were still a lot of issues. Most of the puzzle could be matched by design but anything that was the same was very difficult including window pieces!
Another fun puzzle from Dowdle. It reminds me of my days at the beach growing up .

Cannon Beach - 1000 Piece
I have been doing Dowdle puzzles for several years. Don't think I will purchase any more. This is the second puzzle in a row that I have not liked the way it has been cut. Again, I am a dissatisfied customer.
