Intermountain Alta View Hospital - Canvas Gallery Wrap

Intermountain Alta View Hospital opened in January of 1982. At the time, the southeast corner of the Salt Lake Valley was sparsely populated; but Intermountain Healthcare had vision, took a chance, and built a hospital to serve our growing communities. Sandy City has since developed into the 6th largest Utah city with a population over 90,000; Draper, Midvale, and Cottonwood Heights are close behind. Several of the original physicians, who helped pioneer this innovative and extraordinary place of healing, are still actively involved with the hospital and clinic. As we celebrate Alta View Hospital’s 35th year of helping people live the healthiest lives possible, we’re also celebrating the completion of the first phase of our campus-wide renovation. This year (2017), we also are honored to be named for the 5th time as a Top 100 Hospital in the nation, a testament to the high quality and caliber of our caregivers.
